Eugene Farrow was born February 12, 1919 to Augusta and Truman Farrow in Winnebago, Wisconsin. Gene enlisted in the Army Air Corp at the age of 22 and would ultimately become a B 17 flight engineer and top turret gunner. In 1952 he married Marjorie LaMere and they had six children, Patrice, Kathleen, Marjorie (Peggy), Judith, Vicki and William. Gene retired after 30 years as postmaster in Winnebago, Wisconsin and died in 1994.
