1st Lt. James Lackey was born Oct 18, 1918 in Winfred, Montana. He married Rosella Reno on Nov 8, 1941. He entered the military and trained as a B-17 pilot. James and Rosella had three sons, Jim, Bobby and David and one daughter, Carol. James worked for the Air Force Finance Center for twenty-three years and died June 3, 1975 in Aurora, CO.
