2nd Lt. Joseph J. Luckey was born Sept 19, 1923 in Chicago, Ill. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp Jan 10, 1943 at the age of 19. He would later become a B 17 co-pilot. He married Elizabeth in 1943 and had two children, Michael and Kathleen. He later married Janet Etherton and then ultimately Hartley (Hethcox).
Joe worked as a heavy machinery retail salesman but always loved flying and would charter tourists to various locations.  Joe died Jan 9, 1977 at the age of 53.
